There is only one way to get started with Lean Six Sigma, and that’s following the standards and levels established for the methodology by international organizations. At Lean Six Sigma Curriculum for Miami High School Students of Florida, we care about establishing the same levels and belts, so we want to make sure that any student, professional, or party interested in the methodology gets started with it in the right order, which is why offering Yellow Belt Training and Certification is our goal and what is recommended. It covers the basics and is a prerequisite for those who wish to move up to the next level.
Although training is one thing, certification is only possible after you have completed it and passed our international exam. You should score at least 290 out of 400 points for it, and the process can take longer or less time based on how you approach it with us.
We now offer certification options to students and business professionals, as well as those who have completed training elsewhere and didn’t receive certificates. We are aware of the many options available, and we want to ensure you don’t waste your time, but for it, you should still take our exam and have a small proof, at least that you have been trained before.

What Can You Do as A Yellow Belt?
Either you can be part of the core team or as an SME in a Yellow Belt Project. Even though you will only play a small part, this role is very beneficial in the long term.
Data management is a key skill. Although it may seem unrelated, you will be a key player in the future.
Training is provided to assist Yellow Belts in identifying areas that need improvement. This will make the process easier as you will be responsible for finding solutions and problems. These Yellow Belt projects are usually managed by yellow and green belts mainly.
Lean Six Sigma is a common tool in businesses and companies, so it is unlikely that its utility is for students. The methodology is able to help students improve their leadership and decision-making skills.

How Can You Get Certified as A Yellow Belt?
There are two ways you can earn your Yellow Belt Certificate from us, which we briefly mentioned earlier.
- If you feel you have a good grasp of the topics covered in Yellow Belt Training, the “Body of Knowledge” exam is for you. If you feel you have the ability to work around this certification level and methodology, you can contact us.
- Our training is available to you. You can then apply for certification. You can then apply for certification. We offer exams during training and a final exam at the end.
